2011 Australia New Zealand Organic Wine Show Results

The 2011 Australia / New Zealand Organic Wine Show, held via closed judging on the 26 and 27 September in Sydney, has once again shown there are some great organic and biodynamic vineyards producing some fabulous wines.

This boutique show, now in its 7th year, is establishing itself as a great benchmark for fully certified organic and biodynamic wines.  Out of the 134 entries, 66 were awarded medals.  36 vineyards were represented from across Australia and New Zealand.

• Best Wine of Show and Best Red Wine - Lowe Wines 2009 Zinfandel
• Best White Wine - Tamburlaine 2009 Botrytis Noble Chardonnay
• Best No Added Preservative Wine - Battle of Bosworth 2011 Purtian No Added Sulphur Shiraz
